Emergenza (again)

Where:
The High Note Lounge
414 Richard Arrington Blvd
Birmingham, AL, 35233

It looks as if we will be playing the Emergenza thing again this year at the Highnote on the 16th of March at 9 p.m. For those of you who don't know what the heck I am talking about, the Emergenza Festival is a worldwide band competition that starts at local levels and goes all the way to a showdown. It is held in 150 cities across America and Europe. This is basically a promotional gig for us, so if you can make it out, we would definitely appreciate it. If we make it to the second step, we will play at Zydeco's up the street. From there, it's out of town for the next show.

This was a lot of fun last year, and you will get to see 6 or 7 bands for one ticket price. Most of them are local and some from the general area. These are usually rock or hard rock bands, but there were several different genres there as well. We will play at 9:00 sharp (we did this for our early-to-bed friends) and only play about a 35 minute set. So come early so you see the whole show. Parking will not be any kind of issue that early either.

So, what's the price for this? Well, if you contact one of us directly, you can get a ticket for a measly $10. Remember, this is for six bands! If you don't get one from us, they will be $15 at the door, so save some bucks. We can even mail you the tickets if you want to send me a check, or we can arrange a Paypal payment. In fact, if you want to buy 15+ tickets, we can hook you up with a bunch of free ones that you can give to your friends, or sell them and keep the money (about $100!). Be our PR person! The money really isn't an issue since this is an unpaid gig, we don't get anything from the club. It's a fun thing for us for sure. Plus the High Note has a fantastic PA, so it's not an assault on your ears. We would love to have you there to support us again this year. See you there!
